About Colleen Wait

Colleen Wait began her writing career in elementary school. As a shy child she developed her vivid imagination writing short stories and telling her dolls and pets her dreams. She is an avid reader, especially the classics.

She has been very involved in her church's youth activities including children's musicals where she stage managed, directed and even wrote a short play, Daughter's of the King, SonQuest and various other youth events including a local mission trip with her church's youth group. Colleen's son Devin, is in the Air Force, currently based in Texas. His photograph graces the cover of 'Mount Mission', which is loosely based on that mission trip. Colleen's mission in life is sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ through the written word. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1:1.

To date, Colleen has written and published 9 books and, God willing, more are yet to come.

In addition to writing, Colleen Wait is also a proofreader and editor.

From Read that also

One thing I enjoyed about the book was the treatment of running in it. Being an avid runner, I could easily identify the truthful handling of the subject. Also the age old question of chastity was given some room for thought in the book. Religion is also extensively discussed, but being an agonist myself, I am hardly equipped to comment on it. Nevertheless I did enjoy reading the discussions on these topics.

In the end, I found the book a mildly interesting read.

From tragedy to truth, "Love on the Run" is a love story with a twist. Marnie not only must deal with a fiance, but also a murderer, and the sense of loosing her mind to depression. To help her focus she takes up jogging and then running. This story is chocked with information on training for runners. It relates the challenges, successes and failures of runners to the emotions and reality of falling in love.
