Description

Heat wave engulfs a coastal town in England, a grisly crime scene with a man brutally murdered, with his wife laying unconscious on the bed. A beautiful 14 year old goes missing only to be found dead in the undergrowth. How will these seemingly two seperate murders be linked? What does the girls father have to hide, living in eerie 'Jackdaw Cottage'?...

I enjoyed the story, and hope the author goes on to produce more crime novels. The book built to an exciting, if not unexpected ending. It would have been even better if some of the characters had been developed a little more.
