Same choppy narrative as the first book, this book felt like more of a transition book introducing more characters and situations which tended to confuse the story for me. I'm saddened that some interesting characters from book one did not make an appearance. It's still an entertaining read despite what I considered shortfalls in credibility/reality, I am looking forward to book three and hopefully finding the author's vision much clearer. This book slips to three stars from the four stars I gave book one due to the way it left so many loose ends for me. If you enjoyed book one you will still find this worth reading.
