About Louis M. Serra

I was born in Chicago Il, but grew up in California. Early on, I was entertained by stories about gumshoe detectives and tales of werewolves, vampires, ghosts, and other supernatural beings. I began writing short stories when I was ten years old, slowly developing a storytelling style that incorporated my favorite subjects.
After years of keeping my family and friends entertained with short, quick stories they convinced me I should write some books.
My first published book, The Reluctant Vampire, is a story about a vampire who learns some new things about himself and about his man-servant Wilbur.
I have since, written six more novels, all of which are in print. These other novels involve visitors from other dimensions, outer-space, and even some from our very own soil. One of the books, Notes From The Hermit, is a collection of short stories.
To expand my writings, I have taken on a different genre… crime without things that go ‘bump’ in the night. My first crime novel is called, The Hawke’s Lair.
