Hi, my name is Rosemary. My nationality is English although my parentage stems from celtic roots. My main passion is writing but I also paint, mostly in oils. I am first and foremost a wife, mother and grandmother; previously a practical, down to earth business woman - now retired. Born dyslexic into an academically oriented family in the days before the disability was recognised, early years were not easy. But having to prove myself to myself, has stood me in good stead and toughened my character. I knew I could write - even if I couldn't spell. My fear of reading in public led to the development of a keen memory. My inborn love of the written word helped me to overcome my disability and to eventually become a mainstream published author. I am now trying my hand at e-publishing. My writings include adult fiction, astrological books, poetry and children’s stories. Although not as young as I used to be, I hope I still remain ‘young at heart', always able to truthfully hold my hand up to a firm belief in the magic of childhood - not the J. K. Rowling kind (although I adore the books and films), but rather the wonderment of the Santa, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy years. I love children and equate to them, some might say because deep down I have never entirely grown up. To tell the truth, I hope I never really do.
Besides the Facebook URL above I have another page under the name of Percy Prickles and Friends. This is where I showcase my e-books and update my readers with news and information.
** I am in the process updating my full length novel, Lust, Love & Lies. In its present form it is rather jaded. I wrote it many years ago and my writing style has altered (and I hope improved) over time. The results should be well worth the effort. Watch this space.** Sorry folks it is still on going!
** I am also working on a collaborative effort with co-author Al Molaison, no title yet, in which we exchange personal memories of World War II. As children we both lived through the conflict and still have to deal with the impact it had on our lives. Al, an American male, I, an English female; we have different backgrounds, differing writing styles, different experiences; all of which we hope to translate into an interesting and informative read. Not long now.....

In a few words you make a dramatic statement of real life. My favorite poem was "The Church."
