Tangata manu ~ Birdman of Easter Island

A tour group arrives to visit Easter Island. They come to learn about the often tragic history of the Rapanui people, to see the giant statues standing on their ahus and explore the caves.
They find a society of friendly islanders but also hear some very odd legends.
One man becomes obsessed with the birdman ceremony and then uncovers a long-held secret from the island's mysterious past.

About Roger Poole

I am a retired pharmacist from the UK who writes articles for magazines as well as this, my first attempt at a novel.
My family take up the rest of my time. I have a lovely wife, three grown up kids, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren (so far). This wasn't my plan when I was young but it just happened that way.
I also write under the pen name, Paul Rodgers. My next book as Paul Rodgers will be based on my experiences gained during my career in pharmacy.
