Despite political pressures to seek an accelerated conviction, Fred believes the crime is more complex than it first appears. His investigation leads him to an ominous downtown organization staffed with extraordinary personnel, each possessing exceptional extra sensory abilities. Fred has to cope with a headstrong superior, a staff that doesn't support him, and a wife who has fallen victim to dark, secretive moods.

Good read. Steady flow and exciting plot. Nice character portraits.
Spelling and grammatical errors, attributable to editing - author is quite prolific and well-versed. One of the best 'first efforts' I have ever read.
