Too good to put down.
When reading books by new and unknown authors like I do, it means that you never know what you're going to get.
Every now and then, you find an absolute gem, and this is one of them.
When I read the Prologue, I was reminded of Isaac Asimov's "I Robot", but that is where the similarity ends, except maybe for the fact that I can see a movie being made from this story.
At first, the many sub-plots may be a bit confusing, but that soon changes as Michelle weaves her way expertly through it all, and keeps the reader on the edge of their seat throughout. When I reached the three-quarter way mark, I thought that the main plot was over and done with, and that the rest would be a boring wrap-up.
The author however, had other ideas, and held me riveted in her spell until the very last page.
I am emotionally drained - I laughed, I cried, and there were plenty of times that I said "What the %$#@!"
If ever a book deserved to make it to the NYT bestseller list, this is the one.

I wasn't entirely sure what I expected when I downloaded this novel. However the concept appealed to me and I am glad I did. The characters are well rounded and the inventive story line delivers all that one might hope for. The plot deepens nicely and the pace never flags. This is a well edited book and far cheaper than it should be. It will remain a permanent member of my Kindle collection.
