I enjoyed the novelette written by Patricia Joseph very much. The characters were engaging, and I felt like I was back in the Victorian era. Harriet made me laugh as she was not always the proper lady that she was supposed to be! The love story between her and George was my favorite part of the story. I look forward to discovering more about the characters of the Davenport family in future stories. Lady of the Rose is a great read!
