This was an enjoyable read. It was light-hearted enough to be a good option for taking on holiday, while still focussing on some interesting issues of human nature.

I enjoyed the writing style, which was polished, witty and clever. The details and scene-setting was excellent. Ms Klasky's research seems to be top-notch, and I loved reading about Erin's theatre job.

I was a little unconvinced about the relationship chemistry and why Erin chose to do a couple of things in the story. And, as so often happens in "three wishes" stories, I was CONVINCED that I could have advised Erin in better wishing-choices!

All in all, a fun read and certainly a well-written and enjoyable chick lit novel. I'm sure this will delight many and it is a bargain for recessionistas!

Fun, light hearted romance with magic and wishes granted by a genie in a lamp...part of a trilogy, although each book feTures a different wish recipient.
