Fearless writers are in short supply. Honest writers are mainly found in the How-To section where emotions are conspicuous by their absence. Honest AND fearless writers are simply rare. Angela Lovell is honest, fearless, and FUNNY. She takes a familiar idea (trying to get someone back), tucks her ego into a little drawer, and proceeds to render a truthful, tender, yet side-splitting account of her own attempts to win someone back. Although the story made me laugh out loud, her self-deprecation tugged at my heart. Brilliant writing, and my only wish is to read more by this author.
