A collection of poetry that paints a picture of Nature in rhyme, prose, and haiku. This includes seasonal, heavenly, and foreign sketches of Nature. Also, since time relates to Nature and the universe, some words are written which briefly describe and ponder it.

Prior to reading "Painting Nature" by Fleming Calder I suggest you pull up a chair and make yourself comfortable. Fleming paints a very vivid picture of nature, yet peaceful and calm. It is as if he has captured moments in nature and frozen them for us to inspect. At times I could just imagine myself sitting under a tree, near a bubbling brook looking out across the flowers in the field, observing the leaves on trees “yellow, red and golden brown."
I liked most of the poems in particular; Summer Sensation, Autumn On The Rhine, Lotus Petals, Eternal Art, and The Hour Glass. The poetry made me feel warm, pleasant and peaceful. In my mind's eye, he painted his pictures very well; I went to where he wants to take us.
