A family of women and children are taken hostage by three escaped convicts at their isolated ranch in the high desert of Mojave. One of the convicts is a killer, another a rapist and the third is actually a gun runner for the Irish Republican Army trying to flee before Interpol or Britain can come to claim him; One of the hostages, Kate Franklin, is a policewoman determined to keep him from escaping. There's just one problem: They fall for each other. Is it love, or is it Stockholm Syndrome?
