Shelley Ledfors' perspectives take you by surprise. Each surprise is a beautifully wrapped package with subtle edges in the paper folding and crafting, all taped together with semantic finesse.

My husband and I read most of her stories aloud, because they lend themselves to this style of enjoyement. We chuckled and we cried in the shared emotions. What a delightful way to spend our evenings, looking forward to A Different Perspective!

If you want a an out-of-the-box and well-crafted story, Shelley Ledfors is the author to read. In A Different Perspective she draws you in from word one and doesn't let you go. Her stories show that she has a keen sense of timing and the gift of engaging the reader. Additionally, her stories are interesting and meaningful. Two Thumbs Way Up--or Five Stars.

I am of the opinion the Shelley Ledfors, in her debut Smashwords e-book "A Different Perspective--God Honoring Stories with a Twist" has dethroned that other master of the twist, Chubby Checker. As you read Shelley's collection of short stories you will run the gamut of emotions, ranging from tears when reading "Lessons from Grandma" to delight over her "glug method" to measure ingredients for her famous gingerbread cookies. Then prepare to have chills run down your back when finishing "Vengeance is Mine." Shelly's stories are powerful in whatever emotion she draws from her reader. These stories are good, wholesome, well-crafted and will ultimately leave you smiling. As a bonus, Shelley also includes the first chapter of her upcoming suspense-filled novel, "Bree's Secret." (scheduled to be released in 2012).
