I was a bit sceptical at first, given the possibly overdone setting of this book, but I was very surprised. It's filled with twist and turns. I recommend it to any horror fans!

I am a very picky reader and a bit of a snob when it comes to this type of story... Yet Eden captured my attention and took me on a ride that I will always remember. The story is the kind that I love; the way it is written takes hold of your imagination and creates lush, vivid, images, and becomes real in your mind. You see what the characters see and even feel what they feel.

The haunted hotel is not an unfamiliar structure in horror literature. Eden has arrived to join the likes of the Hotel California and the Bates Motel. The setting is steeped in atmosphere and comes to life for the reader. The odd occurrences and strange sights become ever more fearsome as the story goes on. The characters within the hotel are not quite as interesting as the building itself, but the general weirdness should be more than enough to keep fans of the genre interested until the end. For a first effort, this is some inspired work. Recommended.
