Hurricane is a very quick but very good story, I think I spent about 90% of it feeling quite confused but that's ok because I think the leading lady Ana was confused 90% of the time as well. This was such an intriguing story and although a little frustrating at times I had to read this in one sitting because I had to know what was happening and I wanted answers damn it. Half way through the story you would be forgiven for thinking that this was two different stories, at times I had to go back a few pages and double check things, about half way in the story takes quite a paranormal turn. Sadly to say after reading this I am still confused haha but I am hoping that more things will be revealed in the second book.

Adriana or as we come to know her Ana has pretty much grown up looking after herself she does have a Dad but he is quite non existant and caught up either in his work or his new girlfriend. Ana starts having some nightmares that start becoming true for example firstly two new guys full of trouble turning up at her new school and then that the school guidance counsillors wife is going to die in a car crash. Ana is a little freaked about this but keeps it to herself. Getting back to the two new guys who are apparently devastatingly handsome and charming, these two brothers are named Luke and Hayden and I can guarantee the whole way through the book you will just be saying huh and what and eh whenever these two guys are mentioned, let me tell you I had no idea what to make of them and went between smiling and wanting to kill them at least 50 times. This is all taking place in New Orleans a few days before Hurricane Katrina is set to hit and is also the perfect time for the guys to snatch up Ana and kidnap her taking her on a crazy, crazy road trip. This pretty much sums up the first half of the story and the second half well you are just going to have to read it and hopefully you can get your head around it a little more than I did =)

Opening Line: Damn. I never should have agreed to this. What is he thinking? Here we are in a piece of crap pickup truck on our way to sit outside of a supermarket to kidnap this girl. Damn. He'd better not be falling for her. Sure she's cute but I can't think about that.

Favourite Line: Hell hath no fury like a girl who has been scorned.

Favourite Character: All the characters were pretty good in their own way but I think although we had our differences on some things for the most part I really like Ana. She was so stubborn and crazy and pretty much just reminded me of well me. Although some of her reactions after she was kidnapped had me wanting to reach into the book and slap her around a little.

Series Information: Hurricane is the first book in the "Hurricane" series which at this stage appears to be a three book series. The second book is due for release in 2012.
