Extended description

In this darkly comedic novel, delivery man Rod Stokes notices that his customers are suddenly losing their minds. Within the space of twenty-four hours they become childish, delusional, violent, and confused. As Rod makes his way across the sun-baked, traffic-choked landscape of Los Angeles he encounters a variety of strange characters struggling to stay sane. Why isn't the Madness happening to him?

Rod is on the verge of despair when he meets Trina - the only other survivor. She is unlike any other girl he has met: kind, mature, beautiful, and still completely rational. As Rod falls in love with her, he starts to think there is a great cosmic purpose to this mass psychosis, and that he is the only person who can save everyone from the Madness. Is he the savior? Or is he also losing his mind?

Very creatively written. Like the other reader here, I could not believe this was free. I'd read more from this talented writer.
