H.K. Hummel is a poet, editor and teacher. She lives in Nashville, Tennessee. She has published poems in a variety of journals such as Hawk & Handsaw, Quiddity, Antigonish Review, Calyx and others. In January 2011, she was a resident at the Montana Artists Refuge and in August 2009 she served as the Emerging Writer-in-Residence at the Katharine Susannah Prichard Centre in Greenmount, Western Australia. She has a master’s degree from Eastern Washington University and a bachelor’s degree from University of California, Davis.

First I'd like to say the cover of the book is perfect!
Poems paint impressive images and they grab your mind. My favourite poems were Bartender and Icicle moss.
