Extended description

When a gunshot wound puts him on six months medical leave, 44 yr old fraud investigator Morgan Reed spends two months alone and lonely in Las Vegas before deciding to spend the remaining four months in Sedona visiting his elderly father. The last thing Morgan expects to find there is that his 72 yr old father has become a local Lothario and is being scammed for money by one of the many females in his life. The obstacles father and son had were sometimes hilarious sometimes poignant! Who would have thought a 70 something year old would still have so much left in him..........gives the readers hope! Also, a beautiful woman with a younger man, woohoo! This book was such a great read........made me LOL, made me cry! This was such a real down to earth story. I love all Donna’s books and am very anxious to get any of her stories that will be coming out soon! Have each and every book and they all touch home with me for one reason or another! LOVE LOVE LOVE this author and her stories!

3.5 stars

The relationship between Thea and Morgan was really cute.she a non dating widow of 10 years, and he a accident recuperating investigator temporarily crashing with his father. They had a few obstacles in their relationship which temporarily halted their courtship, but their love story was a solid one. Now Morgan's father reall stole the show. Who would have thought a 70 something year old man would have so much spunk with the ladies, and is still getting it in. He was a real charmer and quite funny with some of his terms such as widitity (a widow virgin). He had such a big heart and was a real positive light in the book. This was a good read especially for the 40-50 crowd.
