I love to write and it feels like I've been doing it forever, making up stories in my head. Reading has always been my first love and I realized at an early age that a good story stays with you for a long time. Not so much the words but the sense of time and place. With so many worlds chasing through my head, I write a lot of genres; romance, suspense, young adult and urban fantasy.
I live in Australia with my partner, my children and a house full of animals.

This was a nice quick story about Eliza and her guardian Lord Julius Carlton.
“Carlton was in his thirties and quite old.” Thirty is practically ancient to 18 year old Eliza. She thought he would be an overfed and overdressed ugly man. She has already lined up her husband-to-be until her guardian decides to pay an unexpected call on his charges in the country. What she got was far removed from her vision of him. “Carlton was a blade; sharp and hard and well built.” Oh My! Old indeed…LOL Can she appreciate the experience that comes with age you ask? Mmmm

Delightful short regency romance priced appropriately. The story is not unique but nicely done for the length.

Eliza plans to marry Mr. Henry, providing the guardian she's never met will allow it. When Eliza meets her guardian, Lord Carlton, she's flustered by the handsome rake and she intrigues him, as well. Suddenly he removes Eliza, her aunt, and her brother to London; thus, separating Eliza from her suitor, Mr. Henry. Luckily, Lord Carlton knows his own heart and is bent on saving his wayward ward from the folly of marrying the wrong man. A delightful romp!
