Not bad - not bad at all... The story was very intriguing... the characters were well developed. The editing I think was non-existent. It looked like someone had just hit the spell check button, and left it that. There were a couple of areas where something would happen, and then later on it would contradict itself. Other than having to stop and figure out what the author was really trying to say in quite a few places I did thoroughly enjoy this book.

Really like all the new twists given to the vampire story in this work--veils, suicides, lenses, UV rays and raw meat. I was anxious to find out what was going to happen next. For me the character backgrounds could have been fleshed out a little more--still not sure why Kris became vampire. Biggest complaint was the editing--really need someone to take care of that. I would definitely search out additional R.G. King books. Most promising!

Vampire stories have been told many times but the imagination and creativity of the author create a story unlike any ever told. The author has the ability to create a whole world that makes you feel like it could be apart of your everyday life. Once you begin reading this book I guarantee you can not put it down. The characters are people you know and the ideas are brand new to the vampire genre. You will not be reading the same vampire tale you have heard before, this story is undeniably intoxicating.
