Short description

*(A shabby village was branded the Red Light District.) * Then Mom Ava turned the gun on Wayne. "You get your tail back home and put a kettle of water on to boil. I've got a half dozen chickens for you to feather pick."

Extended description

Smoky returned on leave after basic training, where he excelled. During a heavy backpack, muscle building training stunt, in the river, a small Indian trooper stumbled and fell over his head in the rushing waters. Smoky was strong enough to not only carry his own load, but he was able to reach down and pull up his companion. He drilled a hole in his medal, put it on a chain and gave the necklace to Delilah.

I got this based on the good reviews. I'm sorry to report that I found it unreadable. It felt like I kept being introduced to character after disconnected characters and series of events with no storyline even beginning to develop when I was more than 25% into the book.

Seldom do I have an opportunity to speak my mind. All the Boys Whistle When Delilah Walks By is my chance to make a positive mark on a notepad. The poor must raise up and let their "VOTES" be counted. We can not afford to allow the tricks of the Far Right to cheat us in 2012. Here's mine for President Obama. Ileen Alstead.

All the Boys Whistle When Delilah Walks By is another great Sarah Rebecca Kelly ebook. At least the struggling poor in Sarah's story had a fleeting chance. What can I say in this short review, that will compel those out of work to arm themselves with every ID demanded by those who would cheat in the upcoming elections. All we have is our one person one vote. Let's go with determination to make every vote count. Jason Gardner.

It's pitiful when the poor, in the story of All the Boys Whistle When Delilah Walks By, are to be envied, simply because they have a two room shed over their heads. Instead of being evicted to the streets of no return homeless. We had better get out the vote in 2012 and keep our president in the White House. Has anybody else noticed how those against the color of Obama's skin, have darkened their own skins darker? Jason Gardner.

I've always thought living in a cheap two room shack is better for the penniless than being shoved around on the street. At least a person can make a clean home out of it, like was done in All the Boys Whistle When Delilah Walks By. A great story. Organized Labor 428, Brent Johnson.

Thank you, Sarah Rebecca Kelly, for bringing All the Boys Whistle When Delilah Walks By. I remember when it first came out at Arizona Authors' Association, right after you helped Carolyn Betts with Special Kind of Normal, about her disabled son. Those were the days, Barbara Greer.

All the Boys Whistle When Delilah Walks By took me back to a time when even the poor could afford a two room shack with a path-- to the restroom. My pets and I finally worked our way into a tiny guest apartment attached to an elderly lady's home. I have a good job taking care of her. She also enjoyed this story on her Kindle ereader. So I'll say Thank you, Miss Kelly, for brightening our afternoon read aloud period. Cindy Largas and dear lady friend.

I found it hard to believe that Sarah Rebecca Kelly was actually able to rewrite one of our old world books so quickly. Everybody was urging her to bring it back to life; and, once more it sure looks like she accomplished the impossible. All the Boys Whistle When Delilah Walks By, happened in the village where we grew up. Perryville laid in ruins the last time I went back home. That book is Dy-na-mite in its most classic sense. Thanks, you go, Girl!
