This was one of my first assignments in my Composition I class in college. We had to choose an act of rebellion from our youth and create a story about it (so yes, it is based on true events, although parts of it were tweaked or exaggerated). My professor liked my paper so much that he encouraged me to take up writing, so I decided to edit it a little and make it my first published short story!Tags
