Short description

Book Two of the Universe Cycle. The war with Chaos appears to be over, but the Emperor is dead and two powerful beings each claim the right to the throne. Worse yet, prophesies suggest that the recent war was as nothing compared to what is coming. Shi'ahn and William each have important roles to play, but neither of them are prepared to fulfill them. Yet.

Extended description

Book Two of the Universe Cycle
A terrible force approaches Lumina, but Emperor Augustus had hidden away all the old prophesies, leaving the current generation with no hint of the coming darkness.

But preparations have been in progress since the beginning of their realm. Ancient beings that were placed in stasis thousands of millennia ago begin to awaken. Cailliach has other weapons in various stages of preparation, some of whom she provides clues to their impending doom. And despite all the turmoil, Shi'ahn's isolation finally comes to an end.

I found the free book one very enjoyable and had to find out what happened in book two. I was not let down and found this just as interesting. Splendid stuff.

I simply love the richness of this world where magic and technology meet the metaphysical. Much thought is put into the substance of the story line which, like chocolate, can be addicting. The only bad experience is devouring the book in a day and hungering for more. Like with my coffee, I'd like an IV feed. Highly recommend.

This book is awesome! A must read. I can't wait for the next book in the series.
This book is very well written and keeps the reader entranced and wanting to read more. I had to make sure I did not read it in the morning before going to work. I did that once and was soooo late because I did not want to put it down.
