Short description

This is a true story about wanting to be a singer. Mother sang in her church choir and it is a desire I have had for years. First, in the shower, then at a red light, and finally after mother passed in my own church. In the audition I was numb to the idea of performing in front of other people but, I finally performed in front of 300 people. NEVER give up on your dream. Now I have a CD.

For so many years, I have wanted to sing. Mother was in her chrch choir after auditioning for a recording company. It was one of those companies who promised that if she sent them $200 they would cut a record. All she had to do was send them a vocal recording of a song she wrote - in a key suitable for her and they would assign a musician to accompany the lyrics.

Mother realized her dream and when the recording arrived. She played the cassette until it nearly wore out. But, she never gave up on her dream of singing - and eventually traded her Nashville dream for her local church. She received great delight in pleasing God!

I followed my dream of singing in our church choir but first had to audition. It went well, I was selected and scheduled to perform a Randy Travis song "Through The Fire". I never sang before and when the time approached for me to sing in front of 300 people, God led me to heights I could have never imagined.
