A minha aposta? O pai de Lilly, tendo em conta que a autora está a trabalhar no sentido de dar o maior número de finais felizes possíveis às personagens e essa é ainda uma ponta solta. Será que acerto?

"December Moon" was the book I finished reading on 15th February, 2012. My opinion about this story is almost the same as the one I have about the first volume of the Raven Saga, so I rate it 4 stars.
It was nice to find that December was also connected to the world of the supernatural, putting an end to secrets between her and Lilly. The way the paths of both girls eventually crossed was interesting and very well done, so I congratulate the author.
Again, Suzy Turner refers to Portugal in her books. Is it ridiculous to say that I am proud every time I see my country portrayed in a story? Lol! Anyway, I was pleased with the mention of Portugal, Sintra, Lisbon, Seteais Palace, the fado music, and the sorcerer named Filipe Branco.
The story ended in a very intriguing way, with the mysterious male voice looming once again. Thankfully, the third volume comes out in March to know who it belongs to. My bet? Lilly's father, given that the author is trying to provide as many happy endings to the characters as possible, and this is still a loose end. Will I be correct?

December Moon is Lilly tuluqaq's best friend, and even though Lilly now lives in Canada they always manage to keep in touch. But even bestfriends sometimes have to keep secrets from each other (or so they think). Even when both want the other to know, their families have made it clear that some secrets are better left untold. You see, on December's 15th birthday, really strange things start happening around her and without getting into far to much detail, she finds out that she's a decendant of a family of witches. (Like I said, Lilly also has her secret but you'll have to read the books to find out what it is. :D)

There's a rogue vampire on the loose and is turning SOME people while savagely killing others. After a series of murders start taking place, and people start disappearing in Canada, both families will come together to try and find the person or people responsible. But what happens when a handsome stranger comes into town?? What will happen when it seems the stranger is drawn to Lilly?? What about, what will happen when an old love is threatened?? Will Lilly finally find out what happened to her father after he disappeared?? All of these questions will be answered in December Moon. There's even an unexpected return of a lost family member, but I can honestly say that its someone who I found to be a nice surprise.

December Moon is the second book in The Raven Saga and Suzy Turner did an excellent job with the sequel. I'm looking forward to book 3 in the series and other then many grammatical errors the book itself was hard to put down.

4 out of 5 hearts is my take on the book, but maybe you'll give it more. :) Happy reading!!

Once I started reading, I couldn’t put it down. In “December Moon”, the second book in the Raven Saga, Suzy Turner once again transports the reader into the exciting world of the supernatural. The latest installment in this series, takes the reader on an adventure in which December learns how to use her talent in order to protect her friend; and interesting new characters - both good and bad – are introduced. If you’ve read “Raven”, the first book in this series, you will feel as though you are rejoining old and well loved friends in this second book.

Although there’s lots of action and adventure in the story, the pace is comfortable enough so as to give the reader ample time to savor every moment. I also thought the characters to be very realistic and well defined. Moments of suspense and intensity are expertly balanced by easy-going scenes and enough humor to relax the tension.

As in “Raven”, I was again touched by the warmth and love with which Lily's family and friends accepted December and her family into their midst. Nothing however is always just perfect blue skies, so there are also some truly sad moments, which will bring tears to your eyes. I found myself completely absorbed in the story, experiencing joy, fear and sadness along with the characters. If you enjoyed reading “Raven”, you will absolutely love “December Moon”. It is more than a worthwhile read! (Ellen Fritz)

Once again, the above blurb does not do this book ANY JUSTICE! I could not read book 1, Raven, fast enough. I think I may have read this one even FASTER!

Normally when you read a sequel, you expect a lot of back story and fill ins. NOT WITH THIS BOOK! This book is amazing. This was the first full book I read on my new Kindle. Author Suzy Turner has created an INCREDIBLE world where friends Lilly and December are two outcasts that find friendship in one another. In book 1, Raven, Lilly discovers a family she did not know she had and moves away from her only friend December. December is left to her own devices and misery. She is a very unhappy young lady and very miserable at her Aunt's house. The chain of events that happen on December's birthday change her life forever.

How does one react to turning 15 years old and finding out they are a powerful WITCH? December could not be more happy. She has her doubts of course because she went from an outcast 14 year old to a 15 year old witch with an incredible future. When December finds her way to her best friend, chaos and mayhem explode all around them and the two girls could not be happier. Fighting a most powerful vampire will test their friendship to the limits.

This book is full of amazing story lines. The characters are so well developed that you expect to meet them in the street. You can picture the scenery and smell the forest. You get so lost in the world that Suzy has created. The magic in the book is both supernatural and astonishing as the story plays out.

If you have not read Raven, please go download it NOW! and while you are there, download December Moon as you will REALLY want to read them back to back. You will be so glad you did. This is a wonderful escape into a supernatural world of wonder and excitement, tears and smiles, hugs, love and friends. I am ANXIOUSLY awaiting book 3. I am so excited to see where Author Suzy Turner takes us next!!
