Intriguing beginning. Be forewarned that this isn't a complete story. Mr. Morris has said that he is working on the next installment so viewed as the first entry in a serial. I quite enjoyed it.

Starts with a bang and establishes an intriguing milieu, but stops before it gets anywhere. Clearly a teaser for a longer story, but doesn't specify exactly which book it's a teaser for.
