This is a book to read on a cold winter night--cuddled up in a warm bed--maybe with a cup of tea. Here is a collection of exotic characters--Japanese businessmen, a gypsy fortune teller, an entire convention of lacemakers (including one who is a kleptomaniac),and even a ghost. It all takes place at a a delightful old lodge. Will Glenna, the owner/manager be able to pay her bills, keep her customers happy, find some romance--and solve the murder of her dastardly ex-husband at the same time? You bet she will. I know I had a lot of fun watching her do it--and I bet you will too.
