Set in modern day New York City, Rachel struggles to make a career out of her artistic talents. While she waitresses full time, she aspires to be the best painter she can be. As she suffers from depression and discusses her issues with a psychologist, she comes across an angel and a little good luck, which help her career take off. More
Young artists will relate to the struggles Rachel encounters in her life as she turns 22 and feels unfulfilled with her career. The novel opens with Rachel talking to a psychologist for the first time. She begins to work through her issues, and discovers she has ADHD and depression. Her life hits rock bottom, and when things can't get any worse, she meets a Japanese angel and stumbles upon a lucky opportunity. As she continues working as a waitress in New York City, her art career begins to take off. The reader will find out what the common thread is for all artists.
