Staunchest of all were the conspiracy theorists, insisting the Southern continents were being slowly poisoned. Russia, terrorists, nuclear energy, a New World Order - each one a different culprit to blame. The same sort you used to get saying the moon landing was a hoax, so Jack prided himself that he knew they were full of crap. This time though, even he had to admit there could have been some truth to it."
