Christian is a bitter fantasist. A pathetic daydreamer who wants to become a film director. Because of on-going battles with his inner demons and a repressed past, he has difficulty getting a grip. Difficulty getting it together to write a complete script.

After many half-hearted efforts - and just as many rejections - he finally finds a form he can cope with, as, reluctantly, he is forced to confront the reality he has fled from for so long. After a claustrophobic but decisive encounter, Christian finally starts working on a theme he has been circling around for some time. The story of a man's fight to free himself from a harsh and violent upbringing.
