This is a marvelous book is you are looking for a heavily referenced magnum opus work on America's religion: secular humanism. The historical passages are excellent. The quotes and references are amazing. This is one book you really need to have if you are dealing with the c=school system, the political system, or any of the other organizations involved in proselytizing our children and society. It's long and intense, but very good.

The title is unfortunate. It's one of those intellectually thought out titles that not only doesn't roll off the tongue, but even now that I've read the book, I'm not sure what it means. BUT it's east to find because spell checkers always have the word ready for you to use after correction.
