About Jack Gunthridge

Jack Gunthridge has a high functioning form of autism known as Asperger's Syndrome. He is very open about his autism diagnosis and doesn't consider it a disability. It is a difference in thinking that people like Jane Austen, Mark Twain, Beethoven, Michelangelo, Isaac Newton, and Albert Einstein are believed to have had.

Jack wants to encourage readers to give his books a try. If you look at his reviews, they are either positive or negative with very little in the middle. Since he has a different way of thinking, his books will be written differently. Some will find this refreshing. Others won't quite know what to do with it because it doesn't fit the standard pattern or expectations of what other authors are producing.

I loved that this book wasn't written like every other book .I got frustrated at times with both jacky and Liselle. Jack for hurting Liselle while trying not to hurt her and for Liselle for just shoving herself onto Jack. But I loved this book. I do think that the whole mermaid story was far to long but it was sweet! I almost stopped reading when Jack almost had sex with Brittany, thank you for not going through with that. Great read and awesome writting!

There is just sooooo much to be said about this book. I have told alot of my friends it's a must read. But I admit some times I just wanted to slap Jack. But the emotions are so real and so true; it's almost as if I am going threw the same thing they are. It's awesome and I couln't put it down; I was watching the sun come up reading it! A GREAT resd!!
