About Scott Skipper

The author is a cranky old man with a twisted sense of humor.

He is retired from the metal fabrication industry and lives in the foothills of southern California with a wonderful wife and three foolish dogs. When not reading or writing he practices genealogy and collects photographs of some rather amazing wildlife. You can see the wildlife photos at the author's website. Look for the bear's eye on the bio page.

Review by: Mark Goodwin on Oct. 25, 2011 :
This was very insightful. The author's experience in South America leave me wanting to go somewhere else. Apart from the good restaurants, I had the impression that there are other better places to visit. That's what makes it a good read - it warns us of the troubles we may experience along the way. It also showed my why I should stay with Holland America cruises and not go to Norweigan. Thank You.
