The purposes of the boat's voyages became clear and later confirmed. Disappointed Dick felt it was best to abandon his new friends and the Black Rose before he became too involved. This short story is available only on e-readers and will appear in print in Caribbean Bones, Tales Forgotten,a collection of short stories to be released in 2012.
