This was well written but not a fit in for twilight the people were lovable and likeable on there own but not a good fit with twilight.... why add to someone elses book when you can create your own world and people not a fan....3 stars for the writing only...

This was a really good book. It matches the tone and feeling of the "real" Twilight books. It's really well written and a very good story.

I absolutely loved this book! I won't give away any of the story in this review but I will say that as a Twilight fan I couldn't get enough of this book. The characters seemed real to me and I really loved the way it was written from Renesmees point of view. I'm definitely going to be reading the sequel to this book. Well done to the author!

This book, which was a mixture of hating it and loving it to finally despising it, made me want to go to Ms. Meyers and beg her on bended knee to PLEASE write a real sequel to this series. I say this because although I think Ms. Rush told a very interesting story, (she's actually pretty good and I commend her for putting the time, effort and detail into a book that is not hers originally and will not, at least directly, make any money off of) these characters are a product of Ms. Meyers mind and you got the sense throughout the whole story that these were just not the same characters. At least that is how I felt. I just couldn't immerse myself because everytime I would start to get into it, one of the characters would say or do something that would make me think "Stephanie would NOT have had them do that or say that or think that. And there was to many of the familiar characters missing too. Charlie, Billy, Emmett, Rosalee, The wolves (other than Jacob), Even Edward and Bella were sort of in the background acting like... real parents, yuck! Did Jean forget that Edward is 17 and Bella is 18? As I said, I give her props and although it was a very interesting story I do not believe Ms. Meyers would have wrote it this way and definitely believe she would have had a different ending. As I said, the book had it's highs (really worth reading) and it's lows... but the ending just sucked! Which is why in the end I will dismiss it and wait with fingers crossed for Ms. Meyers to give us the real story.

Please read these books with caution! I would have preferred to have been left with the thought of everyone living happily every after. I was not happy with Jacobs death. I believe Stephanie intended Jacob to live on! The story and the book are well written. As well as the second book. Just be cautioned!

As far as fan-fiction go, this one is very good. It is well written and kept in line with the original series. A very enjoyable read. Make sure you check out the second one: First Light - Rising Sun.

When searching for new books to download, I was so happy to see that someone has finally written a story continuing Nessies' and Jacobs' future. There were some major twists and turns that had me on the edge of my seat. The characters were well developed and the writing style, I think, was very similar to Stephenie Meyer! I only wish that it would have been longer so that I could have enjoyed the story longer! All in all, a great read and I recommend it to everyone!

Totally and completely recommend this book to all Twilight fans. Very well written, although I wasn’t fond of the ending I still respect the way it was done. The author did an excellent job
