Short description

Sent to steal her secrets, he soon craved her submission.

Extended description

A routine mission…

Sean Taggart is hunting a deadly terrorist, and his only lead is the lovely Grace Hawthorne. She's the executive assistant for an employment agency Sean suspects is a front for illegal activities. To get the truth, he is going to have to get very close to Grace, a task he is all too eager to undertake when he discovers her deliciously submissive nature.

…turns into a dangerous seduction.

Soon, Grace Hawthorne is living a double life. By day, she is the widowed mother of two college-aged sons. By night, she submits to Sean's every dark desire. She's living out her wildest fantasies of pleasure—intimate acts of trust she's only read about. As passion engulfs her, a murderer strikes, and Grace learns that Sean has a deeply hidden agenda. Will Sean choose his mission and break her heart or be the Master of her dreams?

My review from Goodreads listed bleow:
The Dom Who Loved Me by Lexi Blake

I thought this story was good. This is the first installment in the beginning of a new series and it did a good job describing the premise of this series and the characters that I believe will be in the next books. I like when this is done in the first book because I can then continue reading them with some understanding of what to expect in the next story. This is a series I will continue reading.

This story is about Grace and Sean and the twists and turns in their relationship. This book had the usual 'should I/shouldn’t I's in the story. This is what I call the the push me/pull you’ that usually happen in romance books. I compare it to the animal in the Dr. Dolittle movie that looked like a two headed gazelle/unicorn mix. It was well written, easy to read.

The conundrum for me with series and especially the first book is that though this book is about Grace and Sean, it to a degree makes me compare Sean to his brother Ian and the other males in this story. I want to see Sean as the ‘dominate’ yet in scenes with the others he doesn’t come off as dominate as I would like. So how do I deal with it? I read them anyway.;)

Fantastic! I was impressed with Lexi's collaboration with Shayla Black in "Their Virgin Captive" (I enjoyed it more than many of Shayla's previous books and she is one of my favourite erotic rommance authors) so decided to give this ago, and it was well worth it. The writing style and plot development is smooth, and the action amazingly well balanced with the sex. The characters brilliantly fullfilling their D/s roles while still being believeable, both speech and dexcription make it hot. Throw in an Alpha male who shows us he really wants his older woman and the story is spot on. Their are plenty of other characters whose stories one is left wanting to read. This is deserving of being published by any mainstream publishe who publishes erotic rommance!

I really enjoyed this book by Lexi Blake. I enjoyed the characters of Sean and Grace. Sea is sent on a mission to get information, and Grace is the one he needs to get the information from. I give this book a five star rating. I can't wait for Lexi Blake's next book.
