About Margery Scott

Although she was born in the Scottish lowlands, Margery has spent most of her life in Canada. She writes in multiple genres, from steamy historical romances to romantic suspense and thrillers, depending on her mood. When she's not writing (or wielding a billiard cue, which is her other passion), she likes to travel, seeking out the perfect settings for her yet-to-be-written novels.

Review by: Linda Andrews on Dec. 04, 2011 :
Luke Dawson is in New York to find out what happened to a friend's daughter. Unfortunately, he's hit a dead end. Literally. Taryn Hayes has had to work hard for everything in her life but all her ambition won't save her when she becomes the prime suspect in the murder of her mentor. Especially when it becomes known that he's been harassing her.

Devil's Harvest is a wonderful book to curl up with on a rainy day. The plot is engaging and the obstacles the hero and heroine face just keep coming. Taryn is a scrappy and determined heroine who is easy to cheer for. And Luke is the kind of guy everyone would want if they find themselves in trouble. Ms. Scott's engaging style makes this a sure winner.
