An intense and thrilling read that will make the reader want to turn every page until the last and then go back and read it again!

Ms. Duvall took characters, vampires, that can often be overdone in this day of vampire books and made them unique and interesting again. Not the cold-blooded, cold to the touch vampires that have been portrayed at times but Malcolm is a vampire like none that I've read before. She wrote him with feeling and depth so that I cared about him as a human. The same with Karyn. She was well written and the reader will care what happens and how this story ends.

The plot is interesting, never dull, and it never lags. Yes, many will say another vampire book but this one is not like the normal tale. It has action, romance and of course sex. Recommended to all.
