Short description

Rattling Bones is a collection of short stories with a dark edge. Meant for the chicklit reader who likes her fiction a little dark in places. She doesn't mind a death or two and she certainly doesn't mind a few 'bad words'

This is a wonderful collection of short stories by a writer who is new to me, about ordinary people, some more likeable than others, some more quirky. Their stories share a common theme to do with death or dying. Thea's writing is fresh and original, sometimes sad, sometimes poignant, sometimes dark, sometimes ugly even, but always engaging. I have no ideas why she is giving this collection away for free, because I would happily pay good money for such gems. I am now going to see what else Thea Atkinson has written. (five stars!!!!!)
