A California native, I lived in Britain for eleven years, moving back to The Golden State in the spring of 2007. I'm leaving these stories for my grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In the meantime, please enjoy these tales. And thank you so much for reading an independent author.

Anna Scott Graham makes you really live with her characters, and care about them straightaway. They're messy, they're real, they're maddening, and they're wonderful; she has a real gift for capturing the intricacies of human relationships. The backdrop of baseball and the world series was particularly interesting for me, but if you're not a sports fan, don't let that put you off--this is a book about people with baseball as a backdrop, and not the other way around.
