About Dawn Gray

I grew up in the nothern wilderness of Vermont and for years have been occupied with my own worlds and creating my own characters. Currently, I have 6 books of an on going book series called The Vampire Legacy out in print. The 7th is soon to be published. S.P.I.R.I.T has evolved to a three book series so far, and Raven and Before the Moon Rise are also stand-alone novels.

Samantha Ricketts finds herself miles from her home dressed and out side a church, there is lights on in the church so she starts to go into it when the church goes up in flames,

A man runs out of the church and takes Sam with him and there run to a big truck that is red and has lights on the top, inside there are more men and she find out that the man that took her is called Zander

The men are all in a army which you will find out all about as you read the book, Sam with not call the Captain Sir

Sam and Zander are pulled together and there is some hot sex in it (with flames )
together there all help save a person and bring him bag to the real world.

I hope you all enjoy this book as I did and that there is a follow up book to it as i would love to know what Sam and Zander get up to

Sadly I don't think I can give a very detailed review because It would give away to many spoilers.
The story starts off where you might think you have missed something but as you read further you realize
that one of the main characters is just as lost and thats the point and just the beginning! I feel a little lost though at the end
like I missed something but then again maybe that's just what we have to wait for and I am hoping to read it soon. It was a fast passed
story and one you have to pay attention to details or you will find yourself lost and having to go back and reread parts. Overall this was
what I consider a great read even if it's not my normal genre. Will be looking for the next book.

This book just didn't do it for me. It seemed to have pretty good reviews and I loved the concept so I thought it would be a good read, but it really came down to the writing on this one. The plot was really jumpy and hard to follow and the author made assumptions that the reader understood concepts that were never properly explained or developed in the book. I felt like the entire time I was reading this I was missing key information which would help me understand the plot better, like this was really a series and I'd picked up the 2nd book or something, but my understanding is it is a stand alone book. Overall, when this was done I just felt unfulfilled, the general concept had a lot of potential and I would've gladly read this book if it was twice as long if it helped the author bring some descriptive narrative to a few more areas. It really just felt like I was reading an unfinished work or a rough draft.

I am in love with this book and not ashamed to say that I have found a new book crush. Zander Smith is a member of the S.P.I.R.I.T Team (Special Paranormal Investigative Research Intelligence Team) and has a electrifying personality, the total swoon package. As he is on a mission, his path collides with Samantha Ricketts, who is hot as fire and has no idea how she got there and why. Zander vows to help her solve her mystery and soon finds that the two of them being drawn to each other in that moment was more than just a coincidence. As their journey begins, they feel as if they have a connection, one stronger than the elements, which is strange considering they just met, or is it? This storyline is filled with suspense, thrill, hot romance, and paranormal activity that is off the map. It had me on the edge of my seat, chills up and down my spine, covered in goosebumps. I couldn't put this book down, I had to know what happened next, page after page I found myself wanting more. I highly recommend this book to anyone that has the urge for a story that will blow you away. I can't wait to read more about The S.P.I.R.I.T Team and their ghostly adventures.

Review for S.P.I.R.I.T Fire Storm by Dawn Gray

I bought this book from the author herself. She even signed it for me! I was so anxious to read this book, I always am when an real life author signs their book then sends it to me, who wouldnt want to read it? This author is an amazing author and friend, and I am honored to read her book.

Samantha was put in a town with out knowledge on how she got there. She can remember everything else about her life except of that town and how she got there. But when her life is in danger she is saved but a very handsome Zander. There are two universes and in one they are together by love and death and they brought the two universes together. They have an romantic and thrilling ride together.

This book was a big WOW. It was exciting and on some parts had me on the edge of my seat. Im not big on romance books either but when Dawn Gray combines supernatural (my favorite subject) and romance together it was right up my alley. I couldnt have had ask for a better book from the author.

I give it 5 out of 5 stars! Of course I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

S.P.I.R.I.T. Fire Storm by Dawn Gray was truly a great book.  The way she weaves the characters of Sam and Zander together in two parallel universes where in one universe they are unrequited and separated lovers by death and chance meeting brought the two together in a alternate universe.  The connection that the two had was very romantic and exciting.  How they were able to come together through very strange circumstances and not question what needed to be done and not completely freak out.  I asked the author about future books and she is working on book 2.  I will be looking forward to it and I give this book 5 stars and recommend that everyone leap on the Spirit.
