I picked up "The First Door" based on a recommendation. Admittedly, the genre and theme isn't something I tend to read. All of that said though, the story was not boring. The author's characters are believable and the plot flows very well. The story ends with a surprise and with an opportunity. Overall, this novella is worth the price and worth reading.

Gripping is the way I would describe this story. When I first started this story; I admit it was very late at night and I was only going to read a little bit of it, and then pick the rest up later. As soon as I started I could not put it down. Lilly brings you into her world which takes you on exciting twists and turns. I would definitely recommend picking this up for a good read.
