In An Easter Tale we meet the Foot Family of rabbits. Mom and Dad spend time with their little ones as they enjoy chasing butterflies and licking sweet flowers. They also teach their bunnies about the dangers that lurk in the meadow. Like all families, they have good times and bad.
They are lucky to personally know The Easter Bunny. They hear that he will be retiring to the Caribbean soon to enjoy the sun and swaying coconut trees. There will be a contest to choose the next Easter Bunny and the kids all want to enter. The competition is fierce, even between siblings.
Which contestant will come up with a brand new color for the Easter eggs? Will one of the Foot Family bunnies have the honor of being the next Easter Bunny? You'll have to read the book to find out.
This is a great Easter book and makes for a fun read-aloud or bedtime story no matter what time of year. The kids will truly enjoy getting to know this rabbit family and adults will appreciate the humor in Ms. Meyers-Hanson's references and puns.
It's a fun read for all!
