This is a cool, quick read! Enjoyed it.

A refreshingly new look at the paranormal. Contemporary but with a lot of Poe-like qualities. I was disappointed that my favorite character in this appeared really too briefly: Madelyne. Maybe there will be a novel built from this SS?

An original concept! What we're dealing with here are a sort of witch with no flesh that live to steal the breath and skin of their victims. There are others of this kind that just want to live in peace. The rub is who is who. I enjoyed this a lot. It's not a romp in gore but it is pretty violent. The writing is very well done and it's not your average reheated plot. Bad points? It can be a little long in the tooth in places and I had to re-read the ending once to get it. These are minor considerations on whole. Worth reading!
