The main character of this book, Whitey, was engaging, endearing and thoroughly enjoyable to read about. Anyone who has ever wandered off or lost their path in life will enjoy reading this tale. I agree with other reviewers as well that it was laugh out loud funny for its sometimes obscene (in a good way) humour and often bizarre situations - yet they didn't seem all that unbelievable. Read it, you'll see what I mean.

A well written book with colourful, well developed characters and a nicely flowing plot. It is also very, very funny: it had me howling with laughter and very few books make me do that! I also think it would make a great film which would certainly be a hit with people who enjoy unusual characters and dark humour!

There were some editing issues, but not nearly enough to detract from the story. I think this is an amazing piece of work and I really enjoyed reading it. I couldn't put it down. It's filled with great dark humor and truthful observations about people and life. I'll definitely be recommending this to people as well.

This book was one of the best books I have stumbled across in quite a while. In my personal opinion, this book was a fantastic read that follws in the same vein as "On The Road" by Jack Kerouac and "Catcher In The Rye" by J.D. Salinger. I felt a huge connection to Whitey and felt a kinship to him and his friends. I have been recommending this book to everyone I know. Thanks, Troy, for such a great book.

I have to say that the description here doesn't even begin to do justice to this work. Fans of works such as TRAINSPOTTING are going to find a lot to love in this gritty drama. Although it has its humorous moments, I certainly wouldn't classify it as the author has as "Literature - Humor," although I'd agree 100% with the literature part. One star subtracted for the atrocious editing job (this work desperately needs a proofreader), but an AMAZING work overall.
