Ebook short description

No absurd fantasy cliche is safe from the Armpit of Evil! Joe Mirabello writes a madcap romp through a fantasy world that relishes in the absurdity of the fantasy genre. No classic trope goes unturned, no genre convention goes unchallenged, and no pun opportunity is missed! Actually, there aren't a whole lot of puns, because, really, puns aren't very funny.

This was a great debut from Joe Mirabello. The story was a mix of twists on familiar and original plots, the characters were interesting and deep, and there were some puns but without all the British references of a Pratchett novel. Even two weeks after finishing the book, I find myself thinking about the characters. And unlike most fantasy books, this one has amazing cover art, done by the author himself. I am really looking forward to Mirabello's next book (hopefully due out before 2021).
