I love this story! I connected with the emotions of the characters on so many levels, from love, excitement and anticipation, to fear, confusion and devastation. As I got to know Emani, it was so hard to put the book down. I wanted to know if he would be okay, if he found what he was looking for. I agree the author has a keen sense of human character. And it made for powerful story. I highly recommend this book.
