The day of the Zombie Apocalypse was one that was bloody, violent and filled with terrible losses. Brad and his family were among those that barely survived that day, but soon find that that surviving is only the first of many struggles. Faced with the collapse of civilization as they know it, they have to contend with the growing hordes of undead, the search for food, supplies and shelter, and the worst of all, the other survivors.

I thought this was a great book and will look for more by this author. There were some issues where editing needed to be a little more thorough as is the case with most books. Overall an exciting read and one I would recommend to anyone. Cheers!

This review might look negative, but I assure you it's not. I just wanted to give some constructive feedback. I usually don't like stories told in first person, but I did enjoy this one. I tend to start reading self-published books with skepticism, but I noticed quite quickly that the author is a skilled writer and I enjoyed his use of language. What the book could use is some editing. In some places it seemed like an extra word had been left in the text (at one point an entire paragraph) during the writing process. The ending seemed a bit rushed, but the story in its entirety was great. With professional editing, I would definitely consider buying any coming books of Mr. Cox at double or triple of current price.
