The Miracle at Red Hill

Drake Greene is an old, mean curator who talks to things in his museum. Alexis Spencer is a beautiful young reporter with long blonde hair and an eye for adventure. Her Alsatian called Mitzi can never stay out of trouble and when she meets up with Drake in an old town in the outback, Egyptian scarab beetles, feral cat trappers and spiritual objects all combine for a roller-coaster read.

About Write-a-Book-in-a-Day

Write-a-Book-in-a-Day is an annual event run by The Katharine Susannah Prichard Writers Centre to stimulate writing, to write children's books for children's hospital libraries and to raise money for equipment in children's hospitals.

You form a team to write your book and must write, edit, illustrate and bind your book in 12 hours between 8.00am and 8.00pm based on the characters, setting and issue you are sent just before you start.

It is wonderful fun, amazing to read the books that people write, and supporting a good cause.
